    Aeroptic is looking to fill 2 positions for QC Data Analysts working in our Geospatial Production Group.




    Primary responsibility is the quality control of raster data. This involves the review and editing of digital orthomosaics. The review process requires the use of a variety of software including GIS and raster editing software.


    Employment is on a part-time on call basis.  Employees are trained in QC review and editing techniques and will be called to work based on the volume of work and availability.


    Skills and Qualifications:


    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in remote sensing, GIS, surveying or other geography related fields.
    • Candidates should be familiar with concepts of remote sensing and digital image processing.
    • Candidates should have knowledge of raster formatting, projection and geo-registration.
    • Candidates will work with multiband orthomosaics and ensure data meets geo-registration, clarity and radiometric balance standards.
    • Experience with Esri, Envi, Erdas, QGIS and other GIS, mapping, or remote sensing packages required.
