Aeroptic LLC is a precision aerial mapping company. Our Team provides aerial imagery and flight operation services throughout the world, and we are excited to offer opportunities to mechanic candidates who enjoy working in an upbeat environment with fast paced operations. We are looking for experienced mechanics with a positive attitude who thrive in a Team environment. The mechanic will work on and maintain our fleet of Beechcraft King Air 100 (Garrett Engine), METRO SA-227 (Garrett Engine), and Cessna aircraft. The candidate must be willing to operate anywhere within the United States as well as overseas and in remote locations. This is an hourly non-exempt position and will be on an on-demand rotational basis providing a wide variety of international experience. The primary work schedule is a 90 day on and 90 day off rotation and our Headquarters Team works hard to accommodate our Team Members with the needs of our many projects.

Mechanic Duties Include:

  • Performing aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as needed to facilitate high operational readiness capabilities
  • Maintaining hangar & aircraft tools and equipment to company standards
  • Operate and maintain safe and efficient hangar and aircraft maintenance conditions
  • Assignments to remote areas, under challenging living and working conditions
  • Additional duties as required, e.g. safety representative, site coordinator, etc.
  • Provide immediate notice of change in aircraft status as well as daily reports to Director of
  • Maintenance

Qualifications

Candidates Must Have:

  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanics License
  • Minimum of 5 years A&P maintenance experience
  • Experience working in close Teams
  • Positive Team attitude

We Prefer Candidates To Have:

  • 10+ years of A&P maintenance experience
  • Inspection Authorization (IA)
  • Experience working on TPE-331 Garrett engines
  • Experience working on piston engine aircraft
  • International travel experience

Location:  North Andover, MA

 

Clearance: Secret clearance required
